Growth Award Winners
Over the last three weeks of the autumn term, we were learning about how we can grow in our learning and personal development. At the end of the three weeks, the teachers chose one child who had demonstrated that they had fully understood what this skill means. This award was given to the children, today, by our staff Governor, Jackie Wilson.

This time, the award for being practice goes to....
Class 1 Charlie - He has made great progress with his handwriting and is going from strength to strength.
Class 2/3 Hunter B - For working really hard on his handwriting and it is showing in his English work.
Class 4 Caden - He has shown excellent behaviour in school and is a standout role model for our class. He is very polite and always helpful, which Mr Jardine is very thankful for!
Class 5 Harley H - Harley is always willing to take on feedback to improve his learning. He is becoming more confident when sharing his ideas on the carpet and is now using his flexible thinking skills brilliantly during the 'we do' part of our writing lessons. He is really growing and flourishing as an all-round learner!!
Class 6 Casiana - Casiana is growing into a sensible, caring and kind member of year 2, who always tries her best in her work.
Class 7 Adrian - Adrian has grown so much in the last term, he's become a brilliant role model for the entire class with his learning attitude and honesty. He encourages others to make the right choices and do the right thing. He's made great progress with his learning because he always pushes himself to improve. Really well done, Adrian. You should be incredibly proud of the person you are.
Class 8 Mila - Mila just keeps growing and growing in year 3! Her story writing is magnificent and is becoming so confident with her maths and reading. Amazing Mila!
Class 9 Joshua - For developing his fine motor skills when we were sewing. Miss Steele only showed him once and he was of like a rocket. Miss Steele is super proud of you! Keep up the hard work!
Class 10 Alice- Alice is flourishing each and everyday in Year 4. She has made outstanding progress, particularly in her maths work. Her confidence has improved greatly and her positive attitude is infectious.
Class 11 Mason M - For growing in confidence himself and tackling challenges with more confidence but also helping others grow by helping them when they are stuck.
Class 12 Khurain - She has grown so much in her learning since starting in Year 5. Khurain always blows us away with her wonderful writing in English. Keep trying hard Khurain!
Class 13 Haider- For growing more and more mature over the year
Class 14 Aiden - Aiden Au will be getting my growth award in January. He has grown in confidence over the last few months in Year 6 and is now putting forward his opinion in class discussions. Aiden's writing has also improved massively with him now trying to use the vocabulary and grammar taught in lessons.
We can’t wait to celebrate the next winners of our value award in a couple of weeks time.
