Pupil Leadership Team

Every September the Key Stage 2 classes elect one member of the class to represent them on the PLT (Pupil Leadership Team). These selected students will also represent one of the EY and KS1 classes.

Being a member of the PLT offers representatives an opportunity to develop social skills and confidence, as well as having the chance to act as ambassadors for the school during open evenings, parents' evenings and other school-wide events.

What do we do?

The PLT meets every two weeks in term time to discuss issues that are important to children in our school. PLT representatives gather pupil voices from their class and feed those thoughts through at School Council meetings. Each time we meet, we decide which of these to act upon. School Council reps are also responsible for feeding back information to their classes so that all pupils know that their voices are being heard.
