Our Year 5 children were very lucky this week to enjoy a brilliant afternoon in the company of Palestinian musician Saied Silbak, who came into school to deliver a music session on behalf of the Global Music Academy.

Our children were able to learn about Palestinian culture, including traditional food, traditional dress and traditional music, including the unique instruments that are played.

We then had a brilliant time learning a traditional Palestinian dance. We had lots of fun learning the individual steps and then piecing it all together to make the completed dance!

What a brilliant afternoon!
