Our Year 1 children had a fabulous time in the sunshine at Knowsley Safari Park, earlier this week. The children enjoyed the safari drive, with our lovely guide, looking at the lions, tigers and cheeky monkeys on route.

After we disembarked the bus we had a look at the elephants, giraffe’s and meerkats around the site – we loved the poses that the meerkats made!

The ‘Birds of Prey Show’ was absolutely fabulous and we were so happy to get so close to the beautiful birds.

What a brilliant day – we hope that the children have made many happy memories and have learned a lot about the animals and the environment that inhabit.
