Over the last two weeks, we have been learning about how we can be confident in our learning. At the end of the two weeks, the teachers chose one child who had demonstrated that they had fully understood what this skill means. This award was given to the children, today, by our staff Governor, Fiona Perry.

So, this time, the award for Confidence goes to....

  • Class 1 Oscar- For confidently exploring the independent learning areas.
  • Class 2/3 Azriel - For showing great confidence learning and singing our Christmas songs!
  • Class 4 Amelia W - Amelia is always willing to contribute to class discussions. She is a brilliant role model to all her classmates.
  • Class 5 Theo - Theo always explains his ideas and method of how he arrived at an answer. He always works well independently and takes feedback on board to improve his learning. He is a great team player and listens to the ideas of others.
  • Class 6 Mason - For confidently completing all his assessments!
  • Class 7 George - George has grown in confidence over the past few weeks and is really starting to believe in himself! Miss Hine loves the way he has started to put his hand up and answer questions!
  • Class 8 Coen - Coen always shows confidence in class, by putting his hand up and answering questions.
  • Class 9 Rosie-Mae - For believing in her knowledge and ideas. She is happy to read out loud in class even when there are tricky names in the Greek Myths she gives them a go. Rosie-Mae has also been using stem sentences in maths to explain her reasoning. This is fabulous to see, keep it up!
  • Class 10 Chiara- For challenging herself in maths and not being afraid to make mistakes. She will now volunteer to answer questions and is becoming much more confident with her times tables recall.
  • Class 11 Abigail - For tackling all challenges with self-confidence and determination. Abigail is confident to make changes to her work and in addition, she is confident to speak up for others and ask for advice.
  • Class 12 Alfie - Alfie will always contribute to a class discussion and he can confidently communicate his thoughts to others.
  • Class 13 Joshua- He has grown in confidence from the get go. It is impressive to see his self-confidence in all he does.
  • Class 14 Sam - For confidently sharing his thoughts in classroom discussions.

We can’t wait to celebrate our next winners.
