Virtual Reality Day
What a fantastic time Year 5 and Year 4 have enjoyed today, with prime VR delivering an exciting and innovative virtual reality session.
Our Year 4 children have taken part in a history workshop, which has complemented our Ancient Greek topic. The children have been on a virtual trip to see the Acropolis, the Parthenon and a reconstructed Greek island in the Aegean sea.
Our Year 5 children have also taken part in a session to complement their history learning, and have taken a virtual trip to Mexico. Here, they have explored the ancient city of Chichén Itzá, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. They have seen key landmarks across the city, including the Temple of Kukulcan, the Temple of the Warriors and El Caracol.
This has been a thoroughly enjoyable day, which we hope all our children will come home and talk to you about! The children have asked lots of brilliant questions and we hope that this session will have triggered many curious minds.
