What a brilliant day we've had in Early Years enjoying pirate day!

Blackbeard welcomed us to school this morning and we entered our classrooms to meet out shipmates for the day.

We have taken part in lots of pirate activities throughout the day - we have even made ourselves pirate hats to wear!

A highlight of our day was our pirate treasure hunt! We followed the clues around school trying to find Redbeard and the pirate treasure! After visiting lots of different places, we found Redbeard and the treasure outside class 2. Blackbeard and Redbeard had a sword fight - but we were clever and managed to get the treasure! 

 A huge thank you, as always, to all of our parents and carers for getting all of the children into the spirit, the children looked amazing and we hope that they have lots of lovely stories to share with you when they come home!
